Closing Assistant Manager/Shift Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide training and development for new employees, fostering a positive work environment.
• Assist in managing food preparation and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
• Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist the General Manager with any needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of food management practices, including food handling and safety regulations.
• Experience in cash handling procedures is essential.
• Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Culinary skills or experience as a cook is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
