POSITION SUMMARY

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative, operational, and organizational support to both the Pineapple Inn & Housing Center (PIHC) and the Be the Change Hospitality (BTC) stabilization program. This role supports the program director with clerical, scheduling, communication, and documentation tasks. This position is strictly administrative and does not involve case management or housing services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide general administrative support: filing, scanning, copying, organizing documents, and maintaining electronic files.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Assist with maintaining fundraising projects, including assisting with social media and on-line presence.
  • Prepare BTC program packets including
  • Track documentation readiness items such as identification, birth certificates, and income verification.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, calendars, logs, and program records for PIHC and BTC.
  • Assist with volunteer coordination tasks, hospitality supplies, and organizing donations.
  • Prepare welcome packets, resource sheets, and printed materials for BTC guests and PIHC initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication abilities and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a hotel-based stabilization environment with compassion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in email, spreadsheets, basic digital file management, and office equipment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable engaging with vulnerable individuals (administrative contact only).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in hospitality, administrative support, human services, or nonprofit settings.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed practices (training provided).
  • Experience in scheduling, volunteer coordination, or document preparation.
  • Bilingual skills helpful but not required.

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
