Restaurant Host/Hostess

Position Summary:
We are seeking a confident, professional, and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our fine dining team at our private country club. This role serves as the first point of contact for our members and guests and sets the tone for their dining experience. The ideal candidate will have strong presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide members efficiently while maintaining a polished and gracious demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations and seating flow to ensure an exceptional dining experience
• Direct members to their table
• Communicate effectively with service staff and management to support smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area
• Uphold the club's service standards, policies, and professional image

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional appearance and confident presence
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-service environment
• Previous hospitality or fine dining experience preferred but not required
• Member-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
