Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, and drive sales growth. This role involves a mix of inside-office-based sales and outside territory visits to existing and prospective customers.

Essential Functions

  • Communication. Must have excellent, effective verbal and written communication skills, share information with others prior to decisions and after decisions in a timely manner. Listen effectively and accept constructive criticism
  • Honesty. Must have a high level of honesty and integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical behavior and decision-making. Must be able to foster positive, open, and honest conversations with management and employees.
  • Adaptability to new ideas and changing work environments and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Mechanical Knowledge. Must have sound, mechanical knowledge and take a common sense/practical approach along with the ability to make thoughtful and timely decisions. Gain clarity of issues or objectives by getting input in the decision-making process and show consideration for the impact of the decisions.
  • Positive Attitude. Promote a positive attitude, understand and promote company mission and core values. Must be able to work independently and accept accountability.
  • Service. Must show commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries with product information, pricing, and availability.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, sales orders, and customer inquiries.
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure customer data is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with order processing, warranty claims, and product returns.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing customers to build rapport and identify needs.
  • Prospect and cold call to acquire new customers within assigned territory.
  • Provide onsite product support, deliver marketing materials, and gather feedback.
  • Attend trade shows, truck events, or fleet maintenance expos as a company representative.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience (inside or outside); truck parts or automotive experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
