Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our community-based programs focused on individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, program development expertise, and a compassionate approach to working with diverse populations. This leadership role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by coordinating services, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Lead and supervise program staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet program objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and stakeholders to promote program growth and sustainability.
- Oversee administrative functions including documentation, reporting, and data collection to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.
- Coordinate service delivery plans tailored to individual needs while promoting independence and community integration.
- Stay informed of developments in behavioral health, social work practices, and related fields to continuously improve program quality.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience with a background in program development and implementation within social services or behavioral health settings.
- Supervising experience leading teams working with individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations.
- Strong relationship management skills to engage clients, families, staff, and community partners effectively.
- Administrative experience including budgeting, reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and social work principles relevant to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or related fields is preferred.
