Full-Time Rough & Finish Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-Time Rough & Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. This role focuses on high-quality carpentry work across residential and light commercial projects, including remodeling and new construction. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, understands structural and finish requirements, and can work efficiently on active job sites while maintaining exceptional standards.

Duties

  • Perform rough carpentry including framing, blocking, subfloor installation, and structural modifications
  • Execute finish carpentry such as trim work, cabinetry installation, door and window installation, and detailed millwork
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials with precision
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment safely and efficiently
  • Install interior and exterior finish components including baseboards, casing, crown molding, and paneling
  • Coordinate with project leads and other trades to ensure seamless workflow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
  • Identify and communicate material needs, field conditions, or discrepancies proactively

Requirements

  • Proven experience in rough and/or finish carpentry within residential or commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of framing methods, finish details, and installation best practices
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Physical capability to perform carpentry work, including lifting, standing, and working on ladders or scaffolding
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA best practices
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license; reliable transportation required
  • Must learn and use Buildertrend for all communication and job updates.

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
