Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and efficient handling of cargo, including heavy lifting and moving tasks. Prior experience with warehouse operations, commercial driving, and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is highly valued. The Driver will play a vital role in maintaining smooth logistics operations and representing our company professionally during all deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Ensure accurate loading and securement of items to prevent damage during transit
• Manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving supplies, and organizing shipments
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver experience preferred
• Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is advantageous
• Experience with commercial driving, including box trucks or similar vehicles
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of goods safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
• Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (if applicable)
• Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly during loading/unloading processes
• Proven reliability in adhering to schedules and safety protocols
