Job Summary:
Our San Jose, California location is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. This leadership role is critical to overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all logistics activities. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, implementing best practices, and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics principles. You will foster a culture of safety and productivity, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. Your leadership will drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Oversee the efficient receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment operation.
  • Manage inventory control, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Maintain equipment and facility in good working order.
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee tasks involving lifting and the safe movement of heavy materials.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage physical demands, including occasional heavy lifting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
