Join our team as a Material Handler in Cincinnati, Ohio, and become an essential part of our logistics operations. This role involves the movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are transported safely and efficiently to their designated locations, supporting various production and fulfillment processes. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring materials are handled with care.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the warehouse.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas, maintaining proper inventory control.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of material handling equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a significant asset.
- Proven ability to handle heavy loads, with frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work diligently.
