In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, transporting items to designated areas, and ensuring the efficient flow of products throughout the warehouse. You'll utilize various equipment and tools to assist in material handling tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
- Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, as trained.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any damaged materials or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting (up to 50 lbs) and repetitive motion.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
