We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate for our Boston, Massachusetts location. This is a key role in our logistics operations, responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. You will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong organizational skills, and prioritizes safety in all work activities. Join our team and contribute to a seamless supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements and picking lists.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and footwear, as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following safety protocols.
