Milwaukee, Wisconsin is looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our thriving logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your attention to detail and efficiency are crucial in ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction. This is a dynamic, hands-on position perfect for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy being part of a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order tickets or electronic scanning devices.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and picking/packing area.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting overall team goals.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
