Our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate. This role is essential to the seamless functioning of our supply chain, involving a variety of tasks to ensure efficient goods flow. You will be involved in receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment is paramount. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player, possess strong organizational skills, and be committed to upholding our high standards of operational excellence. This physically demanding role requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize merchandise accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for transit.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (if trained and certified).
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including significant Lifting.
- Wear and ensure the proper use of all assigned PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proven ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, bending, and standing.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse Logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of workplace Safety and using PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
