We are looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to strict **safety** standards. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our distribution center, and requires individuals who are physically capable and detail-oriented. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and **safety**.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Transport materials throughout the facility as needed for production or shipping.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with maintaining stock accuracy.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with **safety** regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times and follow all **safety** protocols.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Support overall **logistics** operations and team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred).
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent **lifting** of up to 60 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of and adherence to **safety** procedures and **PPE** requirements.
