We have an immediate opening for an Order Picker in our busy Houston, Texas warehouse! As an Order Picker, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items to fulfill customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to accuracy. You'll be using RF scanners to locate products, verify quantities, and ensure that every order is picked correctly. Safety is our highest priority, so you must strictly follow all warehouse safety protocols and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The job involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with order picking processes are highly desirable. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise according to order slips or RF scanner data.
- Pack items securely for safe transport.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including mandatory PPE and safe lifting procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for an entire shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and order fulfillment.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
