We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Houston, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be required to use RF scanners to track inventory and confirm picks. Safety is paramount in our warehouse; therefore, strict adherence to safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience in a warehouse setting and a basic understanding of logistics are preferred. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for advancement within our company. - Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order lists or RF scanner prompts.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking and cycle counts.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and mandatory PPE usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
