Join our team as a Fulfillment Associate in Virginia Beach, Virginia! This dynamic role is essential to our e-commerce logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be involved in all aspects of order fulfillment, from picking and packing to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect items for defects or damages before packaging.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for outgoing carriers.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards for order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Capability of lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
