Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Phoenix, Arizona! We are a leading logistics company seeking dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items for customer orders. This role is fundamental to our distribution process, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. As an Order Picker, you will utilize advanced scanning technology and follow precise picking lists. We emphasize safety in all our operations and require our team members to be vigilant. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve product from inventory locations based on order specifications and picking lists.
- Utilize RF scanners and other equipment to ensure order accuracy.
- Verify product codes and quantities before moving items to packing stations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to facilitate efficient operations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets for order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to navigate a large warehouse environment and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Team-player mentality with the ability to work independently when required.
