Seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for our Boise, Idaho location. This role is critical for ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verify accuracy of shipping information and product counts.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and carrier requirements.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computer systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic understanding of international shipping regulations is a plus.
Requirements: While not a heavy manual labor role, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests may be required in certain areas. Occasional Lifting may be necessary. A solid understanding of Logistics and supply chain processes is important. Emphasis on Safety in all shipping procedures is expected.
