Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in Austin, Texas! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring timely and correct fulfillment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, retrieving them using appropriate equipment, and ensuring they are staged correctly for the packing department. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently.
- Verify product information against order details.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements: You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and vests. This role involves significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items. Understanding of basic Logistics principles is beneficial.
