Job Title: Project Manager

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of signed contracts and approved proposals across digital and web-based projects. This role serves as the operational hub between ownership, internal sales, internal teams, and external vendors, ensuring projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with approved scope.

The Project Manager works independently while maintaining clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders. Strong decision-making, accurate estimating, and professional communication are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Project Intake & Execution

  • Manage project intake following signed contracts or approved scopes of work
  • Own execution of contracted work from project kickoff through completion
  • Track project progress, deliverables, timelines, and outcomes
  • Ensure work aligns with agreed-upon scope, expectations, and quality standards

Estimating & Proposals

  • Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals for digital and web-based work
  • Clearly define scope, exclusions, assumptions, and deliverables
  • Ensure estimates align with project requirements, technical needs, and business goals

Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including web development and SEO partners
  • Coordinate vendor timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Ensure vendor output aligns with approved scope and technical requirements

Internal Collaboration & Workflow

  • Collaborate with ownership, internal sales, and project stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal workflows to support timely and accurate project execution
  • Own assigned projects and tasks within the department

Client Communication

  • Communicate directly with a limited number of legacy clients as needed
  • For other clients, coordinate communication through the assigned sales representative unless otherwise directed

Decision-Making Authority

Independently Owns:

  • Execution of signed contracts and approved scopes of work
  • Coordination of vendors and internal project resources
  • Tracking and reporting on project progress, results, and outcomes

Escalates to Ownership:

  • Pricing changes or proposed price increases
  • Scope creep or contract modifications
  • Delays caused by lack of client engagement or responsiveness

Success Metrics

  • Timely delivery of contracted work and approved proposals
  • Accuracy of estimates and adherence to budgets
  • Internal team satisfaction and collaboration
  • Reduction of project-related friction and rework
  • Responsiveness and accountability for owned projects

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and partners
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail in estimating and project planning
  • Solid understanding of website functionality, digital marketing fundamentals, SEO strategy, and PPC programs
  • Ability to balance day-to-day execution with process improvement
  • Growth-minded, solution-oriented approach

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field required
  • Project Management certification required (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
  • Combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal credentials

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
