The Opportunity
We're looking for a
Senior Platform Engineer
who will take ownership of our
quality and security enablement initiatives
across the engineering organization. This role is critical to scaling our ability to deliver fast, safe, and reliable software. You won't be responsible for performing QA on each feature — instead, you'll
build the infrastructure, processes, and guardrails
that empower every engineer on our team to evaluate and uphold the quality and security of their changes. In addition to leading this enablement effort, you'll
provide backup support
to our Lead Platform Engineer, ensuring the stability and scalability of our Azure-based platform.

What You'll Own

  • Quality & Security Enablement

  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks, CI/CD gates, and secure-by-default infrastructure components

  • Define best practices for test coverage, automated checks, and secure development
  • Build tools, templates, and documentation that make it easy for engineers to write, run, and evaluate tests and security checks
  • Partner with senior engineers to integrate quality and security into the SDLC without slowing down velocity
  • Establish and monitor baseline metrics for platform quality and security

  • Platform Infrastructure Support

  • Serve as backup to our current Infrastructure Engineer for managing and evolving our Azure-hosted infrastructure, including AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, and other cloud services

  • Collaborate on improving CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, including deployment workflows, secrets management, and environment configurations
  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) efforts to ensure reproducibility and scalability

  • On-Call & Incident Support

  • Participate in our on-call rotation (up to 7 weeks/year), providing timely response and coordination during critical incidents

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software or infrastructure engineer with a strong emphasis on test automation, DevSecOps, or platform reliability
  • Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) and automated test infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure services, Kubernetes (AKS), and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and scripting capabilities
  • Familiarity with security tools, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and policy-as-code concepts
  • A passion for creating systems that make it easier for others to build high-quality, secure software
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and comfortable owning critical initiatives from design to delivery
