Our Security Associates are more than just the first face customers see — they set the tone for the entire experience. Position Summary:The Security Associate helps keep our dispensary safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. You'll greet guests with confidence, keep an eye on the flow of activity, and help ensure that everyone — staff and customers alike — feels secure and respected. We're looking for someone dependable, observant, and approachable who's ready to take on evening and weekend shifts as part of a friendly, supportive team. What You'll Do

• Welcome and guide customers as they enter, offering a friendly greeting and checking IDs.
• Keep an eye on the floor — watch for safety concerns or anything out of place, and act quickly if something needs attention.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps prevent issues before they happen.
• Monitor cameras and access points to make sure everything stays secure.
• Handle incidents calmly and professionally, including de-escalating situations or assisting with emergencies.
• Work closely with staff to keep the dispensary running safely and smoothly.
• Record basic activity logs and communicate clearly with management when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security, loss prevention, or as a bouncer — or in any fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong people skills with a calm, confident presence.
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts (this role's busiest times).
• Reliable, alert, and comfortable using security technology.

Bonus Points For

• Experience in a regulated industry like cannabis, hospitality, or healthcare.
• Background in law enforcement, military, or event security.
