Field Project Manager (Kitchens & Baths)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is a field-based leader responsible for end-to-end execution of residential renovations. This role acts as the primary point of contact between homeowners, design teams, and tradespeople to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to exacting quality standards.

The Kitchen & Countertop Center of New England (KCCNE) has over 8,000 sq. ft. of beautiful showroom space, and the largest onsite stone yard in Rhode Island which displays an extensive selection of granite and quartz. We are the leading, most dynamic kitchen and bath remodeling organization in Southeastern New England. Regardless of the scope of the project, KCCNE handles all phases of the process, including remodeling design, countertop manufacturing, and installation.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure that all projects are performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards
- On each project, once a week until project completion, it is required that the Field PM meets with the homeowner to answer any questions/concerns and to forecast the schedule with the In-house Project Coordinator. This position requires working closely and effectively communicating with the In-house Project Coordinator, vendors and GC's, by providing updates regarding punch list items, materials that need to be ordered before the project starts etc. It is required to review the scope of work in detail and any applicable changes made with the customer along the way. Also, this includes factoring in change orders for misc. items throughout the duration of the project.
- Proactively identify and resolve problems that may arise throughout the remodel process.
- Participate in certain aspects of scheduling and take necessary action to ensure the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality, and processes are being met.
- Maintain project management SW daily logs, such as schedule updates and e-mail correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of critical issues.
- Participate in training/continuing education in accordance with license requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Has at least 5-7 years, full-time experience with field measuring, rough framing, finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plaster etc. Must have a broad knowledge of code requirements that pertain to a single-family remodel in both RI and MA. Formal licensing in either or both states is a plus.
- Relevant associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Procore/Buildertrend/Other Construction Management SW is a plus. Currently we use Buildertrend which will be taught if not already known. Must be familiar with some type of management software.
- Knowledge of and the ability to assume Project Field responsibilities on an as-needed basis.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- The ability to problem- solve and implement effective solutions.

This is a full-time position. Typical days of work are Monday through Friday. Specific work-day hours are flexible. Most of the workday will be spent in the field at various job sites.
Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
