Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager with a minimum of three years of property management expertise to oversee residential and commercial properties. This dynamic role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of property leasing, maintenance coordination, and legal administrative processes. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws
- Utilize property management software such as AppFolio to manage data entry, rent collection, and reporting
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate repairs or facilities management activities using AppFolio
- Handle lease negotiations, contracts, and legal administrative tasks with transparency and accuracy
- Manage conflict resolution between tenants or vendors through effective communication and negotiation skills
- Maintain detailed records of tenant files, filing systems, and legal documentation while ensuring confidentiality
- Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants to enhance satisfaction and revenue opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in property management or real estate administrative roles
- Proficiency in AppFolio for data management and facilities oversight
- Excellent understanding of landlord-tenant law, contracts, legal administrative procedures, and conflict management techniques
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach
- Office experience with data entry, filing systems, customer relationship management (CRM), and administrative support tasks
- Ability to handle property maintenance issues efficiently while coordinating with vendors or facilities teams
- Skilled in negotiation and upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue streams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in legal documentation, lease agreements, and compliance reports
- Must speak Chinese and English
