Description:

As the first point of contact for our restaurant guests, the Restaurant Greeter plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. You'll greet guests warmly, manage seating efficiently, and support smooth front-of-house operations at our on-site restaurant.

Be the face of our restaurant and help create memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage the reservation system and waitlist, ensuring efficient seating
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Answer phone calls and assist with general restaurant inquiries
• Communicate wait times and table availability clearly
• Coordinate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
• Support team with light duties as needed (e.g., folding napkins, resetting tables)
• Responsible for closing out and cashing out servers at the end of each shift
• Ensure that servers have completed all side work
• Running closing reports and making drops for your shift

Qualifications:

• Prior host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, polished, and professional appearance
• Ability to stay calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must have or be able to obtain a TN ABC card
