About the Opportunity:

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Welder Level 1 responsible to assist operations with hand-welding and mechanical duties using arc, mig, and tig welding. Assist with various alloys including steel plate, angles, and sheet metals on mild and stainless steel. Assemble various simple mechanical components for conveyor systems and food handling equipment. What You Will Need:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Welder's Helper or have graduated from an acceptable school program in welding, required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience welding with Arc, mig, and tig welding, required.
• Familiarity how to use measuring tape, various hand tools, cut-off saw, ironworker, oxy-acetylene torch, arc, mig, and tig welding machines, required.
• Pass Grimmway Welder Certification Program.
• Must be able to pass the Welding Shop Math Test.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work all shifts depending on business need.
• Must be able to drive to satellite facilities as needed.
• Remote work not available for this position.
• Ability to read and understand written information in English, required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean DMV driving record.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evalustion.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of proper welding rod for all projects, preferred.
