Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and proficiency with advanced dental software systems. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional dental services in a collaborative environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Experience with dental office management systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. The position is full-time and involves delivering comprehensive dental care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology.
- Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry to improve efficiency and patient comfort.
- Manage medical records diligently, ensuring all documentation aligns with legal and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with developments in dental technology and procedures to provide the highest quality of care.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive practices tailored to their individual needs.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license; current license to practice dentistry without restrictions.
- Experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, oral surgery (including extractions), and infection control practices.
- Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is a plus.
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment preferred.
- Strong commitment to patient care excellence and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $147, $177,092.89 per year
