Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Server to join our upscale dining establishment, working Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations, and proficiency with various POS systems. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a refined environment, emphasizing professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality. Prior experience in fine dining or the food industry is highly preferred, along with a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting host/host duties as needed
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations and ensure a memorable dining experience
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
• Must be available Monday -Friday. Friday hours are required for sure as we are closed on the weekends.

Experience

• Proven experience as a server in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
• Familiarity with POS systems (we use a clover system)
• Strong background in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
• Experience in guest services, hospitality, or the food industry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest relations through excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling
• Ability to manage time effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
