Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the cornerstone of our kitchen operations, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen management. Your leadership will inspire creativity, uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality, and ensure seamless food service operations across fine dining, catering, and banquet events. This role offers a dynamic environment where your culinary expertise and team management skills will shine, driving excellence in every plate served.

Duties

  • Lead and manage all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure top-tier quality and consistency.
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect our scheduled special events.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure the availability of fresh ingredients for all menu items.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff alike.
  • Coordinate with event planners and service teams to execute large banquets, catering functions, and special events flawlessly.
  • Manage shift schedules, monitor kitchen performance metrics, and implement training programs to elevate team skills in food production and service excellence.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting, with a strong background in fine dining or catering environments.
  • Extensive culinary experience encompassing food production, menu planning, and food handling across diverse cuisines.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced settings with multiple service outlets.
  • Familiarity with banquet experience, dietary accommodations, inventory control systems, and food safety regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices including inventory management, cost control, and shift management.
  • Experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles that highlight leadership capabilities in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $48, $55,000.00 per year
