Maintenance Technician

Capt Hirams Resort is searching for a committed, proactive part-time Maintenance Technician who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all aspects of the resort. In order to succeed in this position, you should possess the ability to think critically and efficiently.

$17-$19/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain all aspects of the resort; may include using carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical abilities to make repairs

· Clean and repair all building fixtures

· Maintain all machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings

· Paint, repair flooring, maintain plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning/heating systems

· Complete on call work order requests quickly

· Compete daily work orders quickly

· Daily work orders may include: Plumbing (toilets, faucets, dishwashers, drains, showers, etc.) Electrical (switches, electrical plugs, boxes, light fixtures, etc.) Air Conditioners (air-conditioning/heating systems) Carpentry (door locks, handles, window screens, drywall patching and painting, etc.)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· 1-2 years Maintenance experience is a must

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and other activities as requested. The employee must be able to lift/or move up to 50 pounds.
