Shift: This position will work nights. Sunday through Thursday 8 pm to 4 am CST.

This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Virtual Registration Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations of all Virtual Registration functions and serves as the liaison between the Shared Services Center (SSC) and the facility. You will integrate the department's services with the hospitals' primary functions, develop/implement policies and procedures that guide or support service, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. You will serve as a key promoter of the SSC, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform patient registration function when needed to ensure wait times are kept to a minimum
  • Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff are adhering to the patient experience expectations.
  • On-call support as needed for continuity of operations
  • Ensure QA on registrations for all facilities in scope for Virtual Registration
  • Provide continuous training for and communicates changes to existing employees
  • Prepare payroll and completes monthly work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Follow-up on patient complaints promptly
  • Work closely and professionally with outside agencies on special projects developed by the corporate office
  • Supervise and maintain the productivity of employees
  • Review the quality of patient registration documents on a daily basis
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and company compliance policies, ensuring timely staff education
  • Inform Patient Access Director(Virtual Registration)of any significant issues in the Patient Access area(e.g.,Registration delays, technical issues, extended wait times,etc.)
  • Complete monthly reports for theDirector
  • Responsible for Dept. Operations Report,FTEs and Operating budgets

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
  • Minimum three years' experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience OR completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
