Box Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role primarily requires operating a box truck and may involve operating various types of vehicles, including cargo vans. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

• Operate box trucks and vans for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Assist in warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or vans.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
• Previous experience in moving or delivery driving is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
