Position Summary
This is a part-time, in-office role (with the potential to grow into full-time) for someone who is sales-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial.
You'll play a direct role in driving revenue by helping us:
- Identify and contact small retailers and builders
- Create simple sales materials and product catalogs
- Support outbound sales, partnerships, and lead generation
- Assist with e-commerce and marketplace sales
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — research, outreach, light marketing, and hands-on selling — and wants to grow into a larger role as performance proves out.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Outbound Growth (Core Focus)
- Identify and research potential customers, including:
- Small retailers
- Independent sporting goods stores
- Builders, contractors, and specialty shops
- Proactively reach out via phone, email, and social media to introduce Huxcore and our available inventory
- Help build and maintain a lead list / simple CRM
- Follow up with prospects and support early deal conversations
- Assist in converting interest into initial orders or partnerships
Product Catalogs & Sales Materials
- Help create simple, targeted product catalogs for different customer types, such as:
- Plumbing products (sinks, toilets, faucets) for builders
- Fishing gear or sporting goods for small retailers
- Work with existing inventory to package offerings that make sense for wholesale or small-batch buyers
- Keep catalogs and materials organized and up to date
Social Media & Outreach Support
- Assist with basic social media content focused on:
- Available inventory
- New product categories
- Outreach to potential retail partners
- Engage with potential customers and partners online as part of outbound efforts
E-Commerce & Marketplace Support
- Assist with product listings and sales across platforms like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Facebook
- Support pricing research, promotions, and listing improvements
- Help test new ideas to improve sell-through and visibility
Growth & Expansion
- As you prove yourself, you may take on:
- Larger sales responsibilities
- Ownership of specific product categories or channels
- More direct involvement in partnerships or new initiatives
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, retail, business development, or an entrepreneurial role
- Comfortable finding leads, reaching out cold, and following up
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Self-starter mentality: you don't wait to be told what to do
- Organized, curious, and willing to learn
- Enjoys variety and fast-moving environments
- Interested in e-commerce, small business sales, and growth
Compensation & Role Details
- Part-time role with a clear path to full-time based on performance
- Base compensation: $ /hr
- Bonus potential: Up to 50% based on performance and results
