Custodian Maintenance

South Plains Rural Health Services is currently searching for a FULL TIME Janitor/Maintenance here in Levelland, Texas.

What You Will Do:

Facility Maintenance

• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific maintenance schedules.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
• Complete minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Inspect facilities regularly for safety and repair needs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors as needed for major repairs or improvements.
• Maintain maintenance logs, supply inventory, and equipment records.
• Ensure all work areas meet OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.

Custodial Duties

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean all facility areas including hallways, restrooms, and offices.
• Empty trash, clean windows, walls, and counters.
• Replenish supplies and maintain janitorial closets and equipment.
• Respond to urgent cleaning or maintenance needs as requested by supervisors.

Groundskeeping & Landscaping

• Maintain landscaping and green spaces around all clinic properties, including mowing, trimming, watering, and planting.
• Oversee garden areas affiliated with the SPRHS Food
