Under the direction of the Manager, the main responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Technician will be to ensure that all installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility and production machinery and equipment are met. The Maintenance Associate must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and efficiency of the operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and Maintain Multiple Facilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain facility mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain building and material handling equipment.
  • Work with pneumatics, dust collection systems and other related manufacturing equipment
  • Assist in relocating or installing building equipment as needed
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility and production system and equipment.
  • Perform demolition and construction as necessary in the facilities
  • Help maintain a professional, safe and organized production facility
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Involves work in multiple buildings in close proximity to each other
  • Some weekend and after hours work required
  • Must have the ability to work with vendors and tenants in a professional manner.
  • Supports, encourages and complies with all company policies and procedures including Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety

    • Requirements:

  • Must be a trust worthy, self-motivated and self-directed worker with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Good experience with hand tools and small machine tools is a must.
  • Capable of plumbing, ducting work for machines.
  • Familiar with compressors and compressed air systems.
  • Familiar with HVAC system routine maintenance and trouble shooting.
  • Capable of using various type of test equipment such as multi meters, current meters, and standard shop equipment.
  • Must have good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to operate basic machine tools – drill press, milling machine, lathe, band saw, etc
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 Pounds
  • Must have valid Driver's License
