Environmental Construction, Inc. is engaged in building public works projects in Southern California. We specialize in the following markets: (1) water and wastewater improvements, (2) athletic complexes and fields, (3) parks and recreation, (4) landfill gas collection systems, and (5) general site improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process and manage project-related documentation including project submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Review and understand project specifications and drawings
- Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage project buy-out, contract progress, reporting, and change management
- Create project schedules using Primavera P6 Cloud
- Monitor the project's trade specific schedule and submittal log
- Develop and manage subcontractor and supplier relations
- Ensure that all projects are meeting production timeline benchmarks
- Communicate and execute all procurement needs on a timely basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and techniques
- Ability to apply basic engineering/problem-solving principles to construction challenges
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work
- Proven understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and internal operational systems with a strong skill for embracing new technology
