Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are a private practice seeking a experienced dental Assistant. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00 PM. Spanish speaking preferred but not required. Pay will be based on experience. Please submit your resume to be considered

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Take dental x-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
• Maintain accurate patient records

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience in a dental clinic setting

• Experience with ordering supplies

• Knowledge of medical coding and terminology
• Familiarity with Dentrix
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry, including making temporary crowns, taking impressions, and endo.
