Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Chicago, IL | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
A fertility practice is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support clinical operations and patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality fertility and early obstetric care through strong clinical expertise, excellent patient communication, and effective collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and sonographers.
The APP will primarily support in-clinic procedures, patient evaluations, and complex OB triage, with the ability to provide ultrasound support as needed to maintain continuity of care. This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented clinician who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations, assessments, and follow-up visits across fertility and early OB care.
- Support and perform in-clinic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist in managing fertility treatment cycles, including medication adjustments, monitoring, and patient education.
- Effectively triage complex OB cases, including ectopic concerns, bleeding OBs, and challenging early ultrasounds.
- Provide empathetic and clear communication to guide patients through treatment steps, medications, and expectations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, sonographers, and laboratory teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow established clinical protocols.
- Participate in clinical projects, workflow improvements, and continuing education initiatives as needed.
Position Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting; women's health, fertility, or OB experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently and triage complex cases.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient support skills.
- Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $110,000–$145,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
