COMPENSATION RATE: $19.25 per hour 
UNION: IATSE Local 750 
LOCATION: 170 N. Dearborn St. & 333 N LaSalle St., Chicago, IL 60601 
POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Guest Services Associate is an integral part of the Goodman's front-of-house department at both the 170 N. Dearborn location as well as at the Theater of the Mind venue, located at 333 North Randolph. This position is responsible for operating the information desk at 170 N. Dearborn and providing customer service to all patrons and visitors at both locations. The Guest Services Associate greets and proactively anticipates the needs of guests and offers thoughtful solutions. This is a part-time position that requires regular evening and weekend hours. 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Welcome all guests in a professional, friendly and engaging manner 
Identify and anticipate guest needs  
Remain knowledgeable of all Goodman accessibility offerings.  
Answer guest inquiries about Goodman services, facilities, box office, and surrounding area  
Accurately log and deliver packages, mail and messages  
Follow all security and safety policies and procedures  
Have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed  
Complete the opening & closing procedures of the facility  
Perform other duties as assigned  
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:  
Customer service-related experience in a high-volume setting preferred. Hospitality experience a plus  
Must possess sophisticated verbal and communication skills  
Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications  
Highly responsible and reliable  
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities  
Ability to work stationary and active shifts depending on the type of shift (performance/non-performance)  
Ability to submit shift availability for at least three shifts per week (with at least one of those falling on a Saturday or Sunday performance)  
Ability to work with a flexible schedule (mix of day and evening shifts)  
Capable of moving deliveries of up to 50 lbs.
