Materials and Outsourcing Coordinator
Location: Kooima Ag – Rock Valley, IA
Department: Warehouse / Operations
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr + Generous Monthly Bonus Program
Mon-Fri 7a-5pm

For over 30 years Kooima Ag has been manufacturing replacement forage harvester parts, combine parts, mixer wagon knives, header adapters, and more We are an independent manufacturer of replacement parts for a variety of companies such as John Deere, Claas, New Holland, and Krone, because of this we are able to produce quality parts at competitive prices.
We are experts in the fields of:
- Agriculture knife-making
- Laser welding
- Metal deposition (carbide, stainless steel, nickel, and others)
Core Responsibilities
Inbound Materials & Receiving
- Receive and verify all incoming materials and parts against packing slips and purchase orders
- Accurately record receipts in inventory and tracking systems
- Inspect materials for damage, defects, shortages, or discrepancies and communicate issues promptly
- Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and staging area
Outsourced Processing Coordination
- Organize, stage, and prepare parts for outside processing (painting, heat treating, outsourced welding, etc.), , ensuring correct quantities, documentation, and identification.
- Track parts sent out for processing and ensure timely return to support production needs
- Communicate with vendors regarding schedules, issues, and discrepancies
- Verify returned parts for accuracy, condition, and completeness
Material Flow & Organization
- Maintain clear, organized staging of raw material, work-in-process, and returned outsourced parts
- Prioritize material movement based on production and fulfillment needs
- Identify and communicate shortages, delays, or risks to production
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory through consistent organization and verification
Qualifications & Traits
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic with a high level of personal ownership
- Naturally organized, neat, and consistent in work habits
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Clear communicator with internal teams and outside vendors
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shop and warehouse for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed)
