JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities include enhancing patients' physical well-being and facilitating their journey towards recovery by:

• Understanding and adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Providing physician prescribed physical therapy.
• Directing and supervising personnel as required.
• Taking initial history and making initial evaluation.
• Consulting with physicians regarding change in treatment.
• Instructing patients and family/significant others in home programs and ADLs.
• Participating in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement activities.
• Preparing clinical and progress notes.
• Helping to develop the plan of care and revise as necessary.

Duties:

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
• Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the course of treatment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Experience working with adult and pediatric patients
• Ability to provide patient-centered care in the patient's home setting
