Quality Engineer

Primera Plastics, Inc. is looking for a motivated Quality Engineer who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment, is passionate about problem‑solving, and is excited to contribute to the continued growth of our company while delivering exceptional quality to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main contact for customer and supplier quality issues.
• Works alongside internal Program Managers to support existing and new program launches.
• New product APQP responsibilities include PPAP development and sample product submissions.
• Ensure compliance with assigned customer specific requirements.
• Support production with daily quality decisions, training, and incoming inspection methods.
• Maintain quality documentation: work instructions, part standards, boundary samples, drawings, deviations, and incident logs.
• Lead problem‑solving using 8D and support APQP documentation (PFMEA, process flows, etc.).
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Perform IATF internal audits and uphold Primera's quality procedures.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing quality, or engineering role. Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies including: 8D, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
