We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Diego, California. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals. This is a critical leadership role within our logistics department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Ensure efficient workflow in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory control processes.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Manage schedules and assign tasks to optimize productivity.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Oversee Loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper Handling and Lifting techniques are used.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE requirements.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
