We are seeking experienced and safety-oriented Forklift Operators for our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods throughout our logistics facility. You will operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials and products. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and strict adherence to Safety protocols are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Transport products to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by placing and retrieving items as directed.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations, and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in cycle counting and inventory audits as required.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Contribute to a positive and safety-first work culture.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, including consistent Lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace Safety.
