This role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility, from receiving raw materials to distributing finished products. You will be responsible for receiving, identifying, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment or further processing. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stock materials in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Pick and prepare materials for production, shipment, or customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Safely operate all material handling equipment, adhering to operational guidelines and regular inspections.
- Follow all Safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control through regular cycle counts and discrepancy reporting.
- Identify and report any hazards or safety concerns within the work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Skilled in performing manual tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs) regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus.
- Commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude.
