We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. You will supervise warehouse staff, implement operational improvements, and maintain high standards of productivity and safety . This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of warehouse management systems, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including occasional lifting . We provide comprehensive PPE and are dedicated to fostering a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle documentation related to shipments, inventory, and personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE .
- Assist with physical tasks when necessary, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management, and external partners.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of the company's logistics .
- Manage and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics . Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS). Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to wear all required PPE and champion a culture of safety .
