We are seeking a diligent Order Picker for our busy warehouse in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure that correct products are selected and prepared for subsequent processes. You will utilize scanning technology and follow established procedures to navigate the warehouse and identify stock. This physically active position involves frequent Walking, Standing, and Lifting of goods. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform required Lifting and movement of products safely.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform frequent Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
