We are seeking detail-oriented Pickers/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment, playing a critical part in our overall logistics process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and preparing packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks on items being picked and packed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Regularly engage in lifting and moving items, some up to 40 lbs.
- Support the logistics team with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be committed to workplace safety and the correct usage of PPE.
