Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize scanning devices or pick lists to ensure precise order fulfillment.
- Check product details and quantities for accuracy.
- Package selected items appropriately for safe transit.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within your work zone.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Assist with putting away received goods and replenishing stock.
- Use pallet jacks or other lifting aids as needed.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Meet established targets for picking efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Capable of performing tasks that involve bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with general warehouse logistics is beneficial.
- Dedication to adhering to safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
Working Conditions:
This role is based in a warehouse environment. It requires continuous physical engagement, including walking, standing, and manual dexterity. Safety is of utmost importance, and all employees must comply with safety regulations and wear the required PPE.
